(1) Far Western University has been established for study, teaching and research in arts, science, medicine, law, management, education, technical and other professional matters.
(2) At the commencement of this Act, the Siddhanath Science Campus, Bhimdattanagar and the affiliated Siddhanath Multipurpose Campus, Bhimdattanagar, jointly operated in the Bhimdatta municipality of Kanchanpur district as a subsidiary campus of the Tribhuvan University, will be established in the same premises.
